The weeklong free medical mission in Abia State, a collaborative initiative of RAHI Medical Outreach and Each One Aid One Foundation has been flagged off in grand style with a lot of residents availing themselves the opportunity of addressing their health challenges.

The flag-off ceremony which took place at Aro Amano primary School, Aro Amano, Osisioma Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State was performed by both Dr Chris Ekiyor, Founder RAHI Medical Outreach and Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor, founder, Each One Aid One Foundation, .

Dr Chris Ekiyor while taking Engr Nwafor on a guided tour of the various units of the medical mission said that the provision of qualitative healthcare for people of rural Africa is the vision of RAHI Medical Outreach and this, the organization has been doing through collaborative platforms from both the government and other funding partners. He went on to say that free medical mission in Abia State will be a huge success as the team is prepared to give the best of medical intervention in all the communities that will benefit from the programme.
In his submission, Engr. E. Nwafor while acknowledging cheers from the people said his passion to give back to the society what God has given to him, has been the driving force for putting up the foundation.

He stressed that the vision to take the welfare of the people as his own through Each One Aid One Foundation as springboard in addressing the issues affecting them will be sustained.

The ceremony featured the demonstration of use of insecticide treated mosquito nets by RAHI Medical Outreach team and de-worming of children by both Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor and Dr Chris Ekiyor.


The medical mission recorded large number of patients who came in their numbers from neighbouring communities of Umuimo, Amato, Umuobasi, Umuiheoma, Mbutu Nta and Amauzu.

Labouratory tests were carried out for patients as well as dental prostheses for those with missing teeth. Reading glasses were given out to people with visual impairment. Dental extractions were done for those with dental cases.






The medical mission continues with greater expectation from the people to address their health challenges.
