RAHI Medical Outreach focus on sustainable healthcare delivery and rapid response in disaster management in rural communities of Nigeria and Africa in general, have taken cognizance of the fact that vulnerable groups in our communities which include women and nursing mothers, children, physically challenged and the aged are potent indices for successful medical missions.
These groups, in addition to emergency cases are given due priority in attending to their health needs and basic management of post-traumatic stress disorders, drug related personality disorder and addiction, disease prevention, management and eradication.
The vulnerable groups due to their peculiar situation, are worst hit during disease outbreak if adequate prevention measures are not taken, in disasters and conflict situations where survival is dependent on agility, precision and individual strength to scamper for safety.
Being a major compliment of government and other stakeholders in qualitative healthcare as well as its numerous community services, RAHI Medical Outreach medical team and volunteers rely on this basic fact in progressive actualization of its desired goals.
However, much as vulnerable groups and the people of rural Africa are given adequate attention during and after its medical missions, RAHI Medical Outreach stands firm in healthcare administration, conflict resolution, peace building and sustenance.
RAHI Medical Outreach in realization of its set objectives strives to uphold itself as the premier provider of integrated healthcare service for the people of rural Africa by staying abreast of the latest developments in health care and maintaining a collaborative team effort.
This partnership initiative and collaborative team effort with government and coordinated groups/bodies have provided a template for the various medical missions and programmes that the organization have embarked on since its inception, oftentimes traversing the creeks and otherwise perceived difficult terrains in our communities.
Our desire lies in ensuring that our communities remain healthy and peaceful so as to contribute effectively to their personal and collective well-being.
