RAHI/NDDC EMERGENCY RELIEF PROGRAMME
KURUTIE COMMUNITY, GBARAMATU KINGDOM
Succur recently came the way of indigenes of Kurutie, Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South/West LGA of Delta State when RAHI/NDDC team arrived the community on an emergency relief programme.
The mission was to distribute food items and to provide free medical services to the people, arising from the military invasion of the community and neighbouring communities in Gbaramatu kingdom as a result of the activities of militants in the region.
The team had earlier flagged-off the drug and food emergency relief programme at Oporoza community, traditional headquaters of Gbaramatu Kingdom with a lot of people benefiting from the free medical services.
At kurutie, the people were delighted to have the RAHI team of Doctors, Nurses and other medical staff in their midst who attended to their health needs throughout the duration of the programme.
The RAHI volunteers as well as the community provided the needed support and ensured a hitch-free programme while it lasted.
